1. Who we are
Committrace ("we", "us") operates the committrace.com website. Committrace is a self-hosted engineering intelligence product. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website.
2. Information we collect
When you submit the demo request form, we collect:
- Full name
- Work email address
- Company name (optional)
- Role / job title (optional)
- Company size (optional)
- Preferred deployment (optional)
- Tools you use (optional)
- Any message you choose to send us
We also automatically record a hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, used solely for spam and abuse prevention.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your demo request and contact you about Committrace.
- To send you a confirmation email acknowledging your request.
- To prevent abuse of the form (spam, bots, automated submissions).
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing campaigns unrelated to your request.
4. Where it's stored
Demo requests are stored in our managed backend database (hosted on Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase infrastructure within the EU). Email delivery is handled by our transactional email provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
5. Retention
We retain demo request records for as long as needed to follow up on your inquiry and for legitimate business records, typically no longer than 24 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@committrace.com.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.
